Diptychs

For this assignment, I chose to walk around and photograph different objects and people and then figure out how well they related to one another. Once each photo was placed with another, I then used exposure and colors to make the similarities between the two stand out. Hope you enjoy!

  1. These are interesting and I especially like the second one because of the pretty shadows. They all flow together and follow lines nicely. I think they could be more dynamic though. Nice.

  2. I think these are really cool and good diptychs however some of them don't flow as nicely as the others, good work though.

  3. The way some of your photos are broken up, almost like broken fragments, looks really nice and provocative. The way you make patterns with your line connections in great. However a little variation from straighter lines may have been nice.

  4. I love the way you used light and dark/ highlights and shadows to make some of these fit together. You did a great job creating mystery and flow in all these connections.

  5. Good job! I really think that your photos flow together nicely, I like the one of my arm. Next time maybe work on editing the photos to help bring out the depth and dimension.
