Leading Lines


The assignment was to take pictures of objects that make you wonder what's on the other side. My approach was to take pictures close up and far away, so that you can see each image in a different way. I also thought that by playing with the highlights and shadows of the picture, it would help make the images stronger. So here is my set for Leading Lines. Enjoy!

  1. I really liked a lot of your photos, and you did a very good job utilizing the lines. The only problem I had was that with a couple, for example your seventh photo, my eyes we not drawn through the photo but to a subject. Nice job.

  3. I really like these. Some of them are really similar, but they are good! I think your explanation is really good and so are your photos! I especially like the one in the extra section of the hill with the cars that is bumpy! :)

  4. Each of your photos are unique but the exposure sometimes brings your eye away from the line. I like the one of the crack in the street. Nice job!

  9. i really like all of these leading lines photos and i they really work together as a compilation which is strengthened by the fact that they are all portrait orientation which i like. nice job
